La Brabançonne (F. Van Campenhout, arr. Alain Crepin)
La Brabançonne is Belgium's national anthem since the 1830 Revolution. The music was composed by François Van Campenhout, a singer at Brussel's opera house Théâtre de la Monnaie. He also composed religious music and opera.
With a breath of nobility, the Brabançonne captures the feeling of Rossini's and Aubert's great operatic arias.
